About KitabGhar by Rahul Prasad

KitabGhar by Rahul is a demo e-book management system built for college projects. It stores book records in your browser (localStorage). Admins can add, edit, and delete book entries using the Admin panel.

How to use

  1. Open Admin, login with rahul04 / rp04.
  2. Use the form to add a book title, author, category, optional cover image URL and a link to the book (direct PDF/EPUB link or Project Gutenberg book page/search link).
  3. Users browse books on the home page — click Open to view the book (opens in new tab).
  4. To persist across devices later, you can add a backend or use Firebase.

Note: The preloaded books use Project Gutenberg search links — click Open, then download the available format (PDF/EPUB) from Gutenberg if you want offline copies.
